Simon is the President of the Akonadi Foundation,  an advocate for civil rights and racial justice, and the youngest woman to receive a MacArthur Genius Fellowship. Garza and Simon discuss what it means to be a boss in the midst of a global pandemic, cooking tips in the time of 'rona, and zoom fatigue syndrome.

Alicia Garza founded the Black Futures Lab to make Black communities powerful in politics.
